$20,000 raised for the Garvan Institute of Medical Research
Last Sunday, the Belmadar Bandits raised over $20,000 for the Garvan Institute of Medical Research at the 2023 City2Surf. Since 2015, Belmadar has raised over $120,000 to support Dr Jim Blackburn's research into Myelodysplasia (MDS) and Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), the blood disorders which eventually took the inspiring and much loved Domenico Marrocco, Belmadar's original founder.
