Belmadar, a trusted delivery partner of the University of Sydney, has been appointed to deliver the design and construct renovation and redevelopment of the heritage-listed Carslaw Building retail precinct. Works will be carried out in a live campus environment.

The project will transform a dated study area into modern casual learning spaces with enhanced food and beverage outlets. It includes new and upgraded retail spaces, along with the refurbishment of the courtyard and undercroft areas. The scope covers demolition, structural upgrades, new shopfronts, internal fit-out and finishes, landscaping, and furniture and equipment. It also includes extensive upgrades to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fire and security services.
