Additional funding secured for Bowral Memorial Hall

Belmadar has been working alongside Wingecarribee Shire Council to restore Bowral Memorial Hall to its former glory. The allocation of additional refurbishment funding by the NSW Government will ensure the interior fit-out complements the external and structural improvements currently taking place in the building initially constructed in 1884.

Council’s Administrator Viv May notes, “This funding will ensure the same attention to detail that has gone into protecting and improving the exterior of the building will be matched once patrons enter inside.” In addition, this funding will be specifically used to supply internal infrastructure improvements, including installing a grand piano, speakers, projectors and sound accessories.

Belmadar is committed to working on projects that support the community. Member for Wollondilly Nathaniel Smith said the funding would complete the building’s transformation. “This funding will help us deliver state-of-the-art improvements and ensure our local audiences and visitors enjoy high-quality cultural experiences.”
