Under Business Manager Alf Marrocco the contractors did an amazing job on a highly complex project. At one stage they built a temporary steel trussed bridge to support the floor of Centennial Hall while they worked on the lower Town Hall. There was no movement. It was a safe worksite and only one day was lost, the job was completed to program despite the unanticipated conditions and problems you get in an old Building. The Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College Administration Building upgrade project provided challenges with regards to working on a very constricted site which is an operating girls' school. Being a heritage project also posed its challenges with regards to the design and incorporating new services into an existing facility. Brendan was the first person I meet in Belmadar. He was easy to talk with and answered all my questions (even if I asked the same ones over and over again).
