Loftus Lane project gets green light for safety

Loftus Lane safety walk | 13 Mar 2019 |

Team Belmadar was out recently for a regular safety walk on our Loftus Lane project, which will see the refurbishment of the heritage-listed Gallipoli Memorial Club and Hinchcliff House as part of the larger AMP Quay Quarter development in Circular Quay.

The Gallipoli Club’s stripped-out interior might not be pretty to look at (apart from the original sandstone which we builders love), but restoration works are set to transform it to a stylishly upgraded club venue, including a new museum, when it reopens next year.

At nearby 1860s wool-store, Hinchcliff House, works are well underway on its conversion into a high-end retail and dining destination, with carpenters busy restoring original spotted-gum beams and joists while excavation takes place in the basement.

We’re happy to report we were able to give a big tick for safety on this site - well done to our ground crew for keeping up Belmadar’s strong safety record!
