Check out these photos from another finished Belmadar project, this time a series of workshop and teaching spaces for The University of New South Wales in Kensington.
Belmadar fitted-out and refurbished a range of areas including The James N Kirby makerspace in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, which offers students the latest tools, technology and training in machine and fabrication technologies. In addition, we constructed a new office and reconfigured a teaching space to incorporate a mobile teaching configuration and testing stations.
Across campus in the Tyree Energy Technologies Building we refurbished two more makerspaces for wood and plastic fabrication and electronics experimentation.
All up we thoroughly enjoyed going back to university (this time without the study or exam stress!) and partnering with UNSW in creating state-of-the-art spaces for the next generation of engineers and innovators. Thanks to UNSW for the opportunity and we look forward to partnering on future campus redevelopment projects.
