Belmadar’s Managing Director, Alf Marrocco (pictured right), recently attended the launch of architect Ed Lippmann’s (pictured left) new book Sydney XXXL. Belmadar previously worked with Lippmann Partnership on the construction of the Emanuel Synagogue project, which was commended with an MBA Excellence in Construction award last year.
Described as a “timely and engaging review of Sydney’s history and position as a world city” in the foreword by Richard Rogers, Sydney XXXL examines the financial and political interests that have shaped Sydney’s development and outlines ways to make it a more liveable, sustainable city. It looks like a must-read for anyone interested in Sydney’s development as a major urban centre, and we wish Ed every success with it!
