The Madsen Building at The University of Sydney is a gothic style building constructed in the 1940’s, with a sandstone façade and detailed sandstone moldings throughout. The Madsen Building is an impressive structure standing at the City Rd entrance of the University campus. Belmadar was commissioned by the University of Sydney to carry out a range of refurbishment works which included a full make-safe of the deteriorating sandstone façade and the buildings sandstone tower.
